Apono AI Terms
These Apono AI Terms form an integral part of the Apono Terms of Use or any other binding agreement governing the purchase of a subscription-based right to access Apono’s Software. Any capitalized term not defined herein shall have the meaning assigned to it under the Terms of Use. In case of any conflict between these Apono AI Terms and the Terms of Use, these Apono AI Terms shall prevail.Please read these Apono AI Terms carefully before accessing or using the AI Features. By accessing or using the AI Features in any manner, you are accepting and agreeing to be bound by these Apono AI Terms, and you represent that you have full right, power, and authority to enter into these Apono AI Terms on Customer’s behalf.
- AI Features. Apono may incorporate artificial intelligence capabilities and machine learning models into the Apono Software (“AI Features”). These AI Features may enable Customer’s Users to interact with an Apono agent to query which internal organizational permissions are required to perform specific tasks, or to make similar internal permission-related inquiries (“Input”), and receive responses generated by the AI Features (“Output”). For clarity, the AI Features are provided solely as an informational tool and are not intended to make decisions on behalf of the Customer or allow Users to change their internal organizational permissions.
- No Liability for the Use of Output. The AI Features include functionalities powered by third-party AI models provided by AWS Bedrock and Microsoft Azure (“Third Party AI Provider”). Neither Apono nor the Third Party AI Provider guarantees the accuracy, suitability, or quality of the Output. Customers and their Users are responsible for reviewing and validating any Output generated through the AI Features before using it. Use of the AI Features is at the Customer’s sole risk, and neither Apono nor the Third Party AI Provider shall be liable for any damages or losses arising from such use.
- No Training. Apono will configure the settings of the Third Party AI Provider so that Customer Input is not intended to be used for training the models of such Third Party AI Provider.
- Subprocessing Activity. To the extent that Customer’s Users share any Personal Data (as such term is defined in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) through the AI Features, Customer hereby acknowledges and consents that such Personal Data will be processed by AWS and Microsoft solely for the purpose of providing the AI Features.
- Beta Features. Customer acknowledges that Apono may offer some AI Features that include pre-released Beta Software that are still under continuous development and as such (i) are not at the level of performance or compatibility of final, generally available products; (ii) may not operate correctly, (iii) may be further developed or modified prior to being made generally available.
- Amendments. Apono may update these Apono AI Terms from time to time by providing a notice to Customer, including by sending updates through the Apono Software.
